Job description, responsibilities and duties

The IT Service Manager is part of the Center of Excellence for HR at Siemens Healthineers IT. The CoE’s prime goal is to support the global HR organization and Customer Service Education Organization with their IT related demands by providing IT solutions and managing & continuously improving global IT services.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You act as the IT Service Manager for our global Customer Service Education Test Engine solution and learning technology related topics
  • You align business demands and processes with our IT strategy and consult the business accordingly while acting as the subject matter expert for our global Test Engine
  • You will translate the business demands into IT service requirements and ensure proper implementation of your solution design following our IT service management- and IT compliance framework
  • You think about the 'big picture', considering end-to-end processes and identify cross-topic dependencies
  • You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service management teams and drive related activities
  • You are responsible for the support model incl. but not limited to incident management with internal and external stakeholders

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a subject related to information technology, business administration or education
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Service Management
  • You have a thorough understanding of Education / Learning related IT solutions
  • You are experienced working in international and interdisciplinary IT related projects
  • You have first experiences in managing external IT service providers
  • You are familiar with and understand the compliance requirements as they pertain to IT operations in the healthcare industry

  • You have a knack for stakeholder management and a high level of service orientation
  • You already have extensive experience with international and intercultural cooperation and communicate reliable across cultures and organizational levels
  • Your English language skills are excellent, both spoken and written, and German language skills are an advantage

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2300 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
