Senior Automation Developer

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are being in charge of designing, developing, testing the automation workflows and supporting the implementation of the RPA solution using core UiPath Re-framework template and workflow principles that are efficient, sustainable, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
• As part of Scrum, DevOps team, coordinates larger RPA and Automation implementations or helps manage multiple smaller projects in parallel in an Agile way.
• You are in charge of creating a change and communication plan which is aligned to the project deliverables, in order to ease the RPA adoption within the company.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the RPA solution is performing the activities in a compliant manner according to service delivery across Covestro of agreed policies and procedures.
• You perform RPA solution code reviews and deployment of RPA solutions in line with Hyperautomation team procedures
• You support, Coach and Mentor other RPA developers, SMEs and other colleagues through all phases of the project delivery lifecycle
• You works closely with the SMEs in Requirements engineering, documenting / recording process details and with the engagement team in implementing / testing the solution (manage exceptions) as well as maintenance / change control of existing Artifacts
• You are responsible for gathering and designing automation solutions in accordance with standard RPA design principles including creation and maintenance of entire project lifecycle solution documentation (Functional Requirement Document, Solution Design Document, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Artefact Operational Handbook). And maintain the documentation on Confluence.
• You work with various stakeholders on the as-is and to-be process mapping, involves IT and RPA teams where required to further identify and quantify RPA opportunities and prepares documentation for handing over to the RPA development teams.
• You are communicating with 3rd party suppliers on the RPA support, incl. 3rdparty consultants, UiPath, AWS and other 3rd party solution providers
• You are identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility
• You are focused on continuously improving the robots’ operational performance using the tools and technologies in place and improving these.
• You administers, orchestrates and controls the virtual workforce in operational environment and   implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
• You are responsible for solving issues, Incidents, Change requests that arise in day to day running of RPA processes by providing timely responses and solutions as required as part of a structured incident management process.
• You use advanced reporting and analysis functions based on detailed logging system to optimize resource use and stability of robots and artifacts in place.
• You cooperates with Local Support Desk in finding solutions for RPA related issues and involved RPA Development team where required.
• You are participating in international projects in the area of Robotic Process Automation, Cognitive RPA, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and features
• You support internal Covestro community of Citizen Developers globally and engage them into the Hyperautomation team Operating Model

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Should have excellent programming/software development background;
• Knowledge of basic concepts of Java or .Net (C#, VB …) or OraclePL/SQL / VBA / HTML, Phyton, NLP; ML is a plus
• Has sound understanding of Development, SIT, UAT and Deployment phases covering the entire Application Development Life Cycle;
• Previous experience working with any of the RPA tools (UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere) is required.
• Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services Cloud or different Cloud technology is required
• Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is a plus
• A minimum of 2 years developing and testing software on a Windows platform and adhering to a structured and documented methodology OR a minimum of 6 months developing and implementing automated processes as an accredited developer;
• Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution;
• Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the UiPath product
• Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment;
• Continuous improvement experience in process and/or process improvement (preferred);
• Work experience with SAP and typical other IT-tools (preferred);
• Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to delivery that strategy;
• Technical understanding of IT supported processes to increase process automation;
• A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines;
• The skills to design well documented, supportable and extensible developments;
• An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines;
• Strong commitment to customer service and understanding of customer needs;
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cultural diversity of internal and external counterparts;
• Very good English skills encompassing special terminologies;

Salary

2 900 EUR/monthThe minimum offered salary is 2900 EUR. The salary can be higher depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
